Interactive Website – Messy Living Room
May 2025
3D
frontend
While getting comfortable with the library three.js i wanted to practice by making a small 3D scene. I modeled a tiny messy living room, created some basic textures and baked the scene with Blender. Then I imported it into the web and added some custom shaders to create more interactivity. The lights and TV flicker, some particles move when the mouse moves and the to-go box steams.

3D
For my bachelor thesis, I developed a web application that allows users to learn Salsa in a new way. You can view the steps in a 3D environment from every angle and control the speed, just as you like and need it. The goal was to create an immersive learning experience.

UX/UI
This game was created for a university project, but turned to be more of a personal project of myself. It's a cozy, relaxing platformer that focuses on the story. The story is about a pilot who lands on a small island which inhabited by an old man that tells him about his son and needs his help. The goal is to collect items and explore the island. The game is created entirely by me. For the assets and textures I mainly used Blender and Unity.

UX/UI

data vizualization
This project was created within a university class together with two other colleagues. The goal was to choose an interesting dataset from the internet and then create an informative website using data visualization. The dataset we found included all space missions from 1957 till 2020. We chose to tell a story while scrolling through the site and focus on interactive charts and animations. We wanted the viewer to be dragged into the topic with an appealing design.

illustration
The goal of this team semester project was to build a mobile app with basic CRUD functions. Leafminder is an app that helps you to keep an overview over your plants and reminds you to water them on a regular basis. An API provides additional information about the species so you can enhance your green thumb. I focused on the design, the UI, frontend development, image upload and naviagation logic of the app.

Mobile App – PetWatch
December 2023
UX/UI
illustration
PetWatch is an UI/UX app prototype for a pet sitting app. The goal here was to create a concept for a secure platform where sitters nearby can find each other easy and quick. You have channels to communicate and also be kept updated during your stay away. The logo and illustrations were also part of the design process.

Web Application – Dreamary
June 2023
UX/UI
backend
frontend
The purpose of the web application dreamary is that people can log and organize their dreams and at the same time share them with their friends. The website has a login system and the data of each user is saved in a mySQL database. You can add, edit and delete your dream entries and also search for entries with a search function. The UI wants the user to feel save and dreamy.

Tetris Web Game
February 2023
packaging
illustration
This mini web game was a school project and aims to playfully reinvent a classic. While I got a lot of guidance and orientation logic wise from the internet and customized it, I wanted to get creative with the frontend design and get out most of the game in a very simple way. Therefore, I chose the pixel art aesthetic so the retro feeling is enhanced and made all graphic elements and animations by myself by using a pixel art software and CSS.

January 2023
UX/UI
animation
development
For my first semester project, which was about mini web games, I build a endless running game like the dino game for the chrome browser. It is about a wanderer in a dark forest that gets scared while sitting at a fire place and runs away. Besides the logic we had to build in vanilla javascript, my goal was to achieve a good storytelling by animating some sequences in Procreate and After Effects and convey the gloomy feeling by using a collage aesthetic.

Game Concept – Just a Dream!
December 2022
illustration
concept
The goal of this project was to create a video game concept, with a special focus on the concept art and mood of the game. The puzzle-platform horror adventure game is about the young girl Ava, who gets trapped in her dreams and has to alter her reality to escape with the help of her companion cat shadow. To get a feeling for the 2.5D game and its aesthetic, I sketched the main character 360° and created cover art and a in-game screen. It was fun experimenting with different brushes and to have full freedom in terms of style.

Klogästebuch – A guest book for the toilet
June 2022
editorial
illustration
Because I love to collect memories where I can, I designed a guest book for the people who need to use my toilet at home. The whole cover design is mostly made in Procreate, where I wanted to achieve a aesthetically pleasing appearance that looks clean and handmade, but also grasps the humorous part of the whole topic.

Book – Schicksal lässt grüßen
März 2022
writing
cover design
This is a satirical, post-apocalyptic novel whose absurdity is reinforced by the nostalgic retro look. I wrote and designed this book as my own personal project. For the front cover I mostly used Photoshop to compose the front page out of many images and played around with typo effects.

Children's book – Mama, was heißt gestorben?
January 2021
illustration
layout
This children's book was created together with Yvonne Richter as the author, while I was responsible for the illustrations and editorial design. The simple illustration style is intended to introduce children to a difficult topic in a visual way. Especially death is not easy for parents to explain to children, whereas this book should help them approach the task.

Packaging – Nosic Nasal Spray
April 2020
packaging
branding
This nasal spray is designed in a way to attract the viewers attention in a fun way that appeals to children, while also making the intended use clear. The project was nominated for the Pro Carton Young Designers Awards '20 in the category of "Creative Cartonboard Ideas“.

Laptop Case
November 2019
illustration
animation
The goal of this project was to represent one self on a laptop bag in the most representative way. I found a perpetum mobile a fitting metaphor for my attitude to work because it is really hard to pull me away of my working desk if I’m not 100% satisfied. Being a perfectionist is not always a healthy trait I assume.

Playing Cards
June 2018
packaging
illustration
These playing cards were a personal project to enhance my illustration skills in Adobe Illustrator. Each suit has its own individual noble family, with a light and dark version of each character that was sketches by hand before. The box and cards are designed according to this light-dark scheme. This duality is further emphasized by the perspective of the box that again references the card designs.

3D
Here are a few examples where I experimented with animation tools like After Effects or Blender that I made in the last few years. I especially wanted to improve my animation timing skills and discovered my fascination for 3D modeling.
